<sub>First off, before I get to anything about conventions, I just want to thank you all. You have no idea how much it means to me that you like my cosplays. That you like them enough to favorite them and comment on them as much as you guys have been! All of the sweet comments you guys gave me just about brought me to tears. Just... Thank you. I really wish I could thank each and everyone of you individually, really. You guys really keep me going and make all of this worth-while.

Lots of Homestuck!! I don't think this HS cosplay spree is going to stop anytime soon either, haha. I just really love cosplaying from the series!
As for Homura, I've had her planned for a long time now. I'm going to be cosplaying her with a friend of mine as Madoka and I might even have a Kyoko as well. I want to try and get all the girls together for this, because I think it would be so much fun!

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to make it to ACen like I wanted to this year. It was never a convention on my "list-of-usual-cons" anyway, but I was really excited about it because LM.C is going to be playing there this year. (I've ALWAYS wanted to see them live. It's actually on my Bucket List!) Ahh well, I suppose. Perhaps a miracle will happen and I can go! xD
I will be attending ColossalCon though! I'm going with A HUGE group of friends. I don't think I've ever stayed with this many friends before, honestly! I had such a great time at CC last year though and I'm sure it'll be just as amazing, if not better, than the last. I hope to see you guys there!

(OH YEAH! I've also decided that I will be keeping my Roxy Lalonde wig white. I'm going to style it properly this week. If I end up not wanting it white in the end, I know that I can always go back and dye it later!!)</sub>

_{I had an AMAZING time this year!! My whole goal of the convention this time around was to make some friends and meet some new people. I've never been all that great at socializing at cons because I get really nervous. But I feel I really accomplished my goal this time around! I met some super awesome people that I had a blast with. I even realized I had a crush on this one specific lady I hung out with. xD Anyways, my cosplays went great and I'll be posting some pictures here in a bit. I ended up only wearing my Formal Kanaya on Friday and The Dolorosa on Saturday. Our room being so far away and arriving at the con late in the day on Friday, made it a bit hard to change a lot. Either way, it was a really fun time!}

<sub>One day left till Ohayocon! I'm SO excited, I don't even know how I've been containing myself. The past few weeks, I've been keeping myself super busy with cosplay. But I'm happy to say that The Dolorosa is completely finished! It took me about a total of 4 weeks. Two of those weeks were non-stop work. Every. Single. Day. The whole outfit is completely hand-painted and that was really the bulk of all my work. That, and figuring out that damn shoulder piece. oAo I really can't wait to wear it this weekend.
So anyways, hurr is my weekend schedule.

As you can probably tell, Kanaya is my favorite troll. I didn't have enough time to throw together her normal outfit or even one of her oh-so-fashionable OTHER outfits. xD So I went with some of my own shit I could put together. Either way, I'll end up cosplaying her real outfits at some point this year.
Tomorrow will consist of final touches and packing, then off to the con early morning Friday!

Just doing a little update on my cosplay list for OhayoCon 2011! I have to drop Howl until ColossalCon, sadly, because I know I won't finish him in time. I have exchanged him for someone else though...
The Dolorosa from Homestuck!
I already have all of the smaller materials for her, (the paint, wig, etc.) so I know that I will be able to complete it in time. My whole Christmas break will be dedicated to finishing these costumes. By the way, Happy Holidays!! xD I'm just so engulfed in other things, I sort of forget about Christmas all together. Never been that big of a deal to me, I suppose.
Whelp, I should go work on my chainsaw for Kanaya now.
